Good Deeds Are Better

Lately I'm too focused in our effort of  having a baby. I think that I whined a lot, complained a lot.. and in the end of the day I hate it, I hate myself for being a whiner. I just can't help :(

Until one day I found this ayat

Wealth and children are [but] adornment of the worldly life. But the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for [one's] hope. (QS 18:46)

"Harta dan anak-anak adalah perhiasan kehidupan dunia tetapi amalan-amalan yang kekal lagi saleh adalah lebih baik pahalanya di sisi Tuhanmu serta lebih baik untuk menjadi harapan."

It felt like a slap in the face but in the same time I'm kind of relieved.

May Allah SWT always be with us and guide our family in a straight path.
